I was delighted when Pulse Yoga sent me 4 DVDs to try out. I was interested in Pulse Yoga because I needed to work on my balance, as well as my upper body strength for Tae Kwon Do.
After having the chance to try each one a couple times through, (in all honesty sometimes I didn't make it through the whole workout, they definitely make you feel it, what a workout!) my favorite workout was the Pulse Yoga II Balance and Tone.
Pulse Yoga incorporates basic yoga moves and adds weights and resistance by holding poses and 'pulsating' your arms or legs. For example doing the warrior pose with weights in hand and controlling your arms and pulsating them up and down to give you a nice arm workout, and believe me you will feel it!
It's a great way to help tone your entire body, and since you can choose how heavy you want your weights to be it's good for beginners to more advanced exercisers.
