My favorite recipe is crock pot Lasagna. In my house we are big fans of pasta dishes, especially Lasagna, and we used to end up making 4 different kinds because everyone in the house like different things... My boyfriend and I only like hamburg and mushrooms, Zac only liked hamburg, my mom and my sister's boyfriend like everything and my sister liked hers without meat, just veggies!
My sister and her boyfriend moved out and we have started to just make one lasagna. I found a recipe to make it in the crock pot and that's how I've been making it ever since!
You can google the recipe if you like because I replace some stuff, like instead of onions I use onion salt, etc. Here's the ingredients I use:
Tomato Sauce (we make our own!)
Most people know how lasagna works but here's what I do:
Put some tomato sauce on the bottom, then add a layer of lasagna noodles, you don't even need to pre-cook them! Then add a layer of meat, followed by cottage cheese, tomato sauce, noodles, meat, sauce and a layer of mozzarella cheese. You might want to add more layers then I do! Cook on low for 4 hours.
I throw this in at lunch time and have it for supper with a Caesar salad and garlic bread, yum!
