ShedMonster

With 5 dogs in the house, we are pretty experienced in the shedding department. The smaller dogs don't shed very badly and 2 of them don't shed at all, but Spike, who is the biggest sheds A LOT. I mean you have to sweep EVERY day he sheds so bad.

I was sent a product called 'ShedMonster' to review. Spike LOVED it!

This is the best picture I could get of him, he's not one to like posing, but here' the result of a few quick brushes:

Punk had to get in on the action too, he doesn't shed but LOVES to be brushed, don't you love his expression?

"Hey Ladies..."
The ShredMonster worked very well and my dogs loved it. Spike especially got very excited and loved the massage it gave him, it glided through easily and in the first few brushes was able to grab a lot of fur and with regular use has really helped with his shedding. It also helped our two long haired dogs with their mats and keep their fur tangle free

You know those people who leave their dogs in the car...

The other day my mother, brother and I were at Walmart, while walking towards the door we found this  note in the parking lot:

I kind of cut off the bottom while taking the picture in a rush but it says; 'I've reported you to the police for leaving your dog in your car.'

I have mentioned a few times before we have 5 dogs and my sister has one too. We are HUGE dog lovers and animal lovers in general. We take amazing care of our dogs, as I'm sure most people do! Our dogs are all spayed/neutered, they are all up to date on their vaccines, they are put outside to do their business and brought right back in when they are finished, they are not left untied to roam the streets or village, our dogs are our family and as such they are treated with the best care we can give them.

I cannot stand it when I go to the store/mall/whatever and I see a dog in the car.

  • 'My dogs love the car.' - Really? Do you think they like when they are baking in the hot sun?
  • 'I love my dogs soooo much I want to take them with me.' - If you love your dogs, leave them home where it is cool and they have water to cool themselves down.
  • 'I'm only running in for a few minutes.' - What happens if you get side tracked? I know I have gone into Walmart or the grocery store and have ended up taking much longer then I had anticipated. BESIDES. It can take as little as 10 minutes for your dog to die or suffer serious heatstroke.
  • 'I left the windows rolled down a bit.' - So? How much of a breeze do you think that will give them? Even with the windows cracked, the temperatures are unbearable.

The fact is, cars can get as hot as 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54 degrees celcius). In 20minutes your dog could die, or be seriously injured. Would YOU want to stay in a hot car with the windows cracked while someone walked around in an air condition building? Please. Leave your dogs at home, they don't need to go shopping!!

Dali Decals Review and Giveaway!

I think these Dali Decals are great for a few different reasons. Number 1 they are easy to use. Clean and dry your area, place the decal and use the squeegee to secure it. Number 2, I thought these would make a great decoration for people renting who aren't able to permanently change things, or hang up pictures. Number 3, kids are constantly changing the things they are interested in. For example my brother went from Transformers, to Star Wars, to Hockey in one year! Wall Decals are a simple and quick way to spruce up any living space!

The prints Dali Decals have to offer are beautiful and there are LOTS to choose from. My brother wanted the Turtle decals, because he got a turtle a couple months ago.

After wiping down and drying your area place your decal down and use the squeegee
to secure it, working from the middle of the decal to the outside.

How cute are they?!

Tokka approves!

Petmate Review

Anyone who knows me, knows I love animals and I love my dogs, we have 5 of them!! I'm always looking for new treats and toys to give them because they are spoiled! My doggies were sent some items for review from Petmate... Some toys and some Booda Bones. Let's see what they thought:

Lola loves her baby! She ran in her kennel and didn't want to share.
Spike is tired out from playing with his dogzilla rope!
'This is MY cow!'
Leia loved the squeaker inside!
Hey Zero, what's in your toy? Treats?
I think it's safe to say they loved every thing! Check out Petmate for toys, treats and other items to keep your pets entertained and happy!

Whole Food Pet Treats Review

I love my doggies, all 5 of them! Getting new treats for them to test out is awesome!

Whole Life Pet Products are all natural, freeze-dried treats. My dogs absolutely loved them of course, and I felt great giving the treats to them. Our biggest and oldest dog, Spike, has problems when eating the store bought treats and dog foods that contain beef or chicken. He will get very bloated and will need to go outside and... do his business... frequently. Thankfully the chicken treats were no problem for him!

Spike, waiting for a treat!
Lola and Lily waiting for their treats! Lily is barking, she knows what's coming!
