Cute, Quick, Cheap DIY Decorating!

I wanted to share the 'craft' me and my sister did the other day. It is really simple, cheap, quick and easy. I am not very creative so this is great for me!

What we used:
Hardcover books - We bought them for $1 each at the local library yard sale, the funds are going to help buy new books!
Cardstock/Scrapbook paper
Glue
Scissors or something to cut the paper
Any little decorations/stickers/stamps you want to use!

Place your book on the paper you want to use to cover it, find the centre.

Once you find the centre lay your book onto it's side so you can mark where you need to cut.

Once you have cut your paper down to size, put glue all over the paper and place the book onto it. What I did was put the spine down in the middle and then lay it on it's side again, then folded the rest of the paper over top.

Then you just add your decorations to it. You could add stickers, or words like 'Home', 'Family', etc!
